"Masks On" Coming Soon

Due to increasing reports of influenza in our region, area hospitals are expected to announce “Masks On” very soon. Once this is announced, all employees, vendors, contract employees and physicians who have not yet received this year’s flu vaccine will be required to wear a surgical mask while in any Woman’s Hospital facility.
Now is the time to get your flu vaccine in Employee Health if have not already done so. If you receive a flu vaccine outside of Woman's Hospital, please bring a copy of the documentation to Employee Health so they can tag your badge.

SCORE Survey

The SCORE Survey, administered by Safe & Reliable Healthcare, begins next week! The survey will assess the Safety, Communication, Operational Risk, Resilience and Engagement factors of your work environment.
Your anonymous participation in this survey will help to identify strengths as well as areas where we have opportunities to improve.
You will receive an email on Monday, Oct. 17 from surveys@safeandreliablecare.com with a link to participate in the survey. Your email will contain a unique link specific to you, so you must use the link sent to your email address to complete the survey and should not forward your link to anyone else. The survey should take less than 15 minutes, and the deadline to complete is Nov. 7.

Healthy Merits

Be Positive Challenge
Starting Monday, Oct. 17, the Be Positive Challenge invites you to stop complaining for 30 days. Negativity and constant complaining can not only drag you down a dark road, but it can infectiously do the same to those around you.
This month, try to place more of your focus and energy on the positive things in your life rather than honing in on the negative. There is no such thing as a perfect life, but focusing on the good rather than the bad will foster a happier attitude and a happier life overall. For the next month, don’t complain. If you slip up, you can counteract the negativity by stating three positive things for every negative comment you make.
This challenge is worth 100 Healthy Merit points. Log in on Monday, Oct. 17 to join the Be Positive Challenge.
