The Raz-ART, Attendant-propel Rotational Tilt, represents a new generation of tilting Mobile Shower Commode Chairs (MSCC). With patented dual-arc geometry, the client’s center of mass remains essentially stationary throughout the 40° tilt range. This results in exceptionally smooth and low tilt effort in both directions, even for someone at the upper end of the ART’s 350-lb. user weight capacity. The Raz-ART base length is 5” shorter than the Raz-AT, and therefore more manoeuvrable, which is especially beneficial in small bathroom environments. 

The patent-pending tilt lock system on the ART eliminates the cable management problems, which are often experienced with other manual tilt chairs. 

The ART’s unique, invertible base frame provides 2 ranges of tool-less height adjustment: 20”-23” and 24”-27” (in 1” increments).  The ART is compatible with most standard and custom Raz seats as well as most accessories.

As a standard configuration, the ART is shipped with both tilt triggers on the right side of the chair. This allows the caregiver to operate the tilt function with one hand from beside the chair while standing outside of the shower area. Both tilt triggers can be ordered on the left side as a no charge option.
