Now What?
How Best to Navigate the Transition to AGS Health & What to Do Next to Ensure Optimal Success
Last week we announced that NSM will be partnering with AGS Health to help us support our revenue cycle management operations. Here are the main takeaways that we need every team member to fully understand:
  • There will be obstacles and opportunities as we move through the transition to AGS Health. NSM's leadership will be responding quickly to stabilize the new environment and move to make adjustments to improve as quickly as possible. AGS Health has a proven track record in revenue cycle management and currently supports best-in-class healthcare organizations including Baylor, Cleveland Clinic and Vanderbilt.
  • With this partnership in place, we will be able to invest in improved quality assurance programs that we believe will support increased collections rates and decreased transaction cycle time to further improve our financial health and the client experience.
  • We want to assure you that as an organization, NSM is completely supporting our departing employees. We are providing notice time, continued pay and benefits beyond their final day. We also have an opportunity to place all of our teammates in new jobs with partner organizations so they do not find themselves unemployed.
  • For the remaining revenue cycle team members, we have improved their compensation and career opportunities to be more competitive.
  • Additionally, NSM leadership has communicated directly to the customer service and technical service teams to further underscore our vision for their functions that align with our vision for improving the client experience.
  • NSM believes direct customer interaction (client, internal customer and referral source) should be handled locally. NSM will lead all direct customer interactions because this is a priority to best support our customers.
  • The NSM field team will still have a highly skilled funding specialist to provide the same support you have been accustomed to in your daily ecosystem.
Now that you have a better understanding of the key takeaways from NSM's partnership with AGS Health, below are three actions you should take to educate yourself on this partnership and ensure optimal success as we navigate the transition to AGS Health.
